Founder & Chief Fiduciary Adviser

Lucille M Shaw, Finances for Life

I am your trusted voice of reason amid chaos in the financial and investment world.  I provide you with personal guidance, clarity, focus, and direction that empowers you to navigate the changes in your lives confidently and focus your energies on your families, work, and life's passions.

Lucille Shaw has been helping medical professionals, business owners, and retirees for over 20 years to protect their assets, increase their income while minimizing taxes, and help them prepare for catastrophic events.

With her natural inclination for thorough analysis, she did her investment research and found it challenging and enjoyable.  Seeing firsthand that her fellow scientists and physicians did not have the time or the inclination to manage their wealth, she saw the opportunity to provide valuable service to her colleagues.  In 2000, Lucille changed her focus and started her finance and business development career.  Today, Lucille is a Fiduciary Adviser with both businesses and individuals as clients.

Lucille Shaw was an ASCP board-certified Medical Technologist.  She worked in these fields for over fifteen years at the University of Illinois Hospital, the University of Chicago, and Presbyterian/St Luke's Hospital.  She earned her Master's in Business Administration from the Keller Graduate School of Management.

Lucille is not new to business start-ups.  A highly driven entrepreneur since her mid-20s with extensive real-life experience in start-ups, strong ethics, and tenacity to bring businesses from concept to fruition.  With firsthand knowledge of the challenges business owners face, she knows what it takes to do what they do to build a successful business.  She takes that same knowledge and dedication to help her business and individual clients plan, execute, grow, and protect their financial future and legacy.

The information must be accurate regarding diagnoses and rendering medical services to physicians and patients, not polluted by someone else's plan.  Fiduciary duty is an innate character of Lucille.  Those in the field of medicine relied on her.  Today, you can depend on Lucille for business advice through her firm, White Coat Adviser.  And personal financial planning, wealth management, and investment advice through her Registered Investment Advisory Firm, Finances for Life, LLC.

In her spare time, Lucille likes doing a half-marathon, hiking, listening to classical music, cooking, gardening, and traveling.  She also volunteers her time in many charitable organizations.
